Regarding Ordering, Payment and Timing

To order your gown, first consult our measurement chart to determine your size. Choose your style, fabric and any optional choice that you would like. Contact us to discuss design ideas, other options or pricing.

Please bare in mind that we must have your order in writing along with your signature, in order to begin work. We have added a convenient printable Order Form, which you may download, print and return to us by mail. Link to it from here.

Prices: Please note that prices are listed for designs as shown on the web site, straight from our size chart. Customized fits or custom-designed gowns will vary in price. You may choose a different fabric than what a gown is shown in at no extra charge.

Timing:  You should order your dress a minimum of three (3) months in advance of your wedding date. We do advise that you order your gown as early as you can. You should expect to receive your dress 4-8 weeks after we receive your deposit and signed order form. Allow much more time for custom designs. You should plan on having your dress at least 3 weeks before the wedding to allow for any final alterations that may be necessary. As all good seamstresses take appointments and need time to work on a piece, we highly recommend this timing structure.  Rush orders are possible, but will incur an extra fee. (Please see below for more information.)

Ordering Timeline & Pricing For Rush Orders: The minimum ordering time to receive regular pricing is six (6) weeks prior to your wedding date on one of our ready-to-wear designs, and ten (10) weeks on a custom design. Any gown ordered less than the 6 or 10 weeks from the scheduled ceremony is considered a rush order. Rush orders incur an extra 10% charge (of the dress total.) For Example, a gown priced at $800 would be $880 as a rush order.

If you are really in a rush, call us and we may have a sample gown in your size in stock you may purchase at regular price.

Sample Mock-Up Dresses:  For a small fee of $100, you will receive two muslin mock-up dresses to try on. These are 1/2 muslins, from the thighs up. You may choose one style to try in two sizes or two styles in one size. The fee for the muslin dresses is non-refundable only if you choose not to purchase one of our gowns. Upon your order and return of the two muslin mock-up dresses, the fee of $100 is applied to the final total. There is a non-refundable shipping fee of $5.00 for the muslins, which will not be applied to your final total.

Custom designs: We do make custom gowns. The pricing on custom gowns generally starts at $1,200, but depends greatly on the design. Please call us to discuss custom options and guidelines.  Get more information by clicking here.

Fabrics:  We offer all hemp blends, chosen for their aesthetic beauty,  drape and texture. We offer a hemp/silk blend, a hemp/silk floral jacquard, a hemp/silk satin and a hemp/tencel blend. Each of these fabrics are comparable to, and we believe they actually surpass, traditional bridal fabrics. 

Payment: We require a 50% deposit upon the order of your gown and the other 50% when your gown is ready to ship. We accept Visa and MasterCard, money orders, and personal checks. Please note that if you pay by check we will wait for the check to clear before we consider it a paid deposit. Please do not email credit card numbers, but rather call us or put them on your order form.

Refund policy: As all of our gowns are cut and sewn to order, all deposits and gowns are non-refundable.

Shipping: We ship UPS or USPS, fully insured.
